REDESIGN AND REDEVELOPMENT OF A 4 COURSE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

 

The purpose of this project was to position the client’s program at the forefront of academic quality through consistent course standards, interactivity, and learner engagement. The focus of the redevelopment was to engage learners, update the currency of the course content, facilitate easy navigation, create measurable learning outcomes, develop learning activities that align with outcomes, perform course mapping, create standardized course shells and layout, devise rich content and resources, create assessments and rubrics that correspond to the assessments, ensure courses are AODA compliant and ensure identified revisions from a previous quality assurance report were addressed. The end product resulted in a program that is consistent, sustainable, supports student retention, and can be easily transferred to facilitators.
